3-Day Live PVsyst Workshop — SAR 300
Learn the PVsyst workflow in three focused days: project setup, weather data, system definition, orientation, shading, detailed losses, simulation, results, loss diagrams and reporting.
Day 1
Project, location/weather data, variants, orientation, system definition and simulation setup.
Day 2
3D shading, horizon/near shading and detailed loss analysis including thermal, soiling, IAM, mismatch and wiring.
Day 3
Simulation, yield, performance indicators, loss diagram, variant comparison and professional reporting.
Workshop learning points are based on PVsyst's official project-design documentation.

PV system design
Work through energy assessment, PV sizing, module/inverter selection, stringing and MPPT allocation.
Electrical engineering
Develop practical skills in cable sizing, voltage drop, protection concepts, SLD logic and design checks.
Software workflow
Use AutoCAD, SketchUp 3D, HelioScope and PVsyst as connected steps in a professional design workflow.
Project documentation
Understand layouts, SLDs, BOQs, yield reports, design reviews and technical documentation.
Skill-development statement: the course is designed to develop practical capability; it does not guarantee employment, professional registration, authority approval or a specific job outcome.

A project-first teaching approach: understand the engineering logic, then use the software to document and validate the design.
- 7+ years of solar PV design and engineering experience.
- Professional project exposure across India, the United States and Saudi Arabia.
- Experience with PV design, engineering calculations, software-based modelling and technical documentation.
- Experience with on-grid, hybrid/storage and commercial PV design workflows, including battery considerations.
- Experience with NEC-based U.S. project requirements and GCC/Saudi-focused design considerations.
- Solar design experience including a 2.5 MW project associated with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU).
- Solar design experience covering approximately 1,500 government-school projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as stated by the academy.
- Training focus: PVsyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp 3D, HelioScope, sizing, stringing, cable/voltage-drop checks, yield analysis and project documentation.
Portfolio evidence and anonymized project samples should be used wherever possible to substantiate project claims.
